John's background runs deep: 20 years as a certified home inspector with more than 5,000 inspections completed, plus years as a property investor and contractor on personal renovation properties, a project manager for Fox Construction, and a quality-assurance hotel inspector for Cendant Corporation. He inspects new construction, existing and renovated homes, and historic properties across Davidson, Williamson, Wilson, and Sumner counties and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area.
Charla Steele is a professional artist who teamed up with her husband in 2014 to begin Qualitas Home Inspections, LLC. She and John have renovated personal and investment properties together, and they thoroughly enjoy working side by side — building a family-based business dedicated to quality home inspections and exceptional customer service.
Her career began in interior design after graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she developed an interior design division and marketed for new business at Looney Ricks Kiss Architects as well as Hastings Architecture. An art career followed the birth of her daughter, inspired by the magazine collages she created for the nursery. Today Charla provides Dedicated Owner Representation and Project Management consulting services, and manages the operations and scheduling for Qualitas Home Inspections — often the first friendly point of contact when you call or text to book.
